Cristina Kirchner Leads the Acts of the Day of Militancy

The former president and upcoming president of the Justicialist Party (PJ), Cristina Kirchner, led the event for the Day of Peronist Militancy in Santiago del Estero, highlighting love for the Homeland as the central axis of militancy. She stated that she is willing to accept the punishment being imposed on her, without remorse, following the confirmation of her six-year sentence in the Vialidad case.

During the event, Kirchner emphasized the importance of the province as a model of political construction and thanked Peronism and local organizations for always making her part of events related to democratic life. Furthermore, she harshly criticized President Javier Milei and contrasted him with Donald Trump, whom she described as a nationalist defender of pro-country policies.

In her speech, the former president defended the role of the State and called for the defense of institutions such as CONICET and the National Atomic Energy Commission. She also emphasized the importance of building a State with added value that reintegrates those who have fallen and proposed the union of militants from all parties, social sectors, and cultures in a collective effort for the benefit of the country.

On the other hand, she highlighted the achievements of the province of Santiago del Estero in terms of the number of homeowners, economic growth, and the reduction of unmet basic needs. Kirchner recalled the return of General Perón in 1972 and reaffirmed her stance by stating that she will not regret any of her actions. Finally, she warned about the unsustainability of an economy based solely on agro-export.
